This Tamil keyboard allows you to type in Tamil without installing any software. You can use your physical keyboard or click the on-screen keys. All text remains private and runs locally on your device.

Typing Tips

Here are some helpful tips for typing in Tamil:

• Use the Shift key to access additional Tamil characters and symbols
• The pulli (்) character is on the F key and is used to create consonants without vowels
• To type combined characters (like க் + அ = க), type the consonant first, then the pulli, then the vowel
• Special symbols like Tamil numerals and currency signs are available with Shift key combinations
• You can copy and paste your text using the buttons in the top right corner

Practice makes perfect! The more you use this keyboard, the more familiar you'll become with the layout.
